TPG Telecom Limited and Vodafone Hutchison Australia Pty Ltd are pleased to announce that the companies have entered into a Scheme Implementation Deed under which the companies have agreed a proposed merger of equals to establish a fully integrated telecommunications operator in Australia.
TPG and VHA have agreed to a merger of equals to create Australia’s leading challenger full-service telecommunications provider.
TPG Telecom Limited is pleased to announce that the Australian Securities & Investments Commission has registered the Scheme Booklet in relation to the proposed merger of TPG and Vodafone Hutchison Australia Limited by way of scheme of arrangement.
The merger, which brings together the businesses formerly named Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) and TPG Telecom (TPG), is due to be implemented today.
