TPG Telecom owns and operates the nationwide Vodafone mobile network, supported by more than 5,600 mobile sites across Australia. Our mobile network covers over 25 million people, and our 5G rollout has rapidly expanded from zero coverage to reaching over 85 per cent population coverage in Australia’s 10 largest cities and regions.
Through an innovative regional network‑sharing arrangement, our mobile network now reaches more of Australia than ever before. Since the arrangement went live in January 2025, TPG Telecom’s mobile network has doubled its geographic reach from 400,000 km² to more than 1 million km² and boosted 4G population coverage to 98.4 per cent.
Together, our owned mobile assets and our shared regional network give TPG Telecom one of the most extensive mobile footprints in Australia.
