Sustainability
Sustainability is integral to how we operate and how we work with our suppliers. As a provider of essential connectivity services, we recognise our responsibility to manage environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts across our value chain and to support a resilient and ethical future.
TPG Telecom's Sustainability Strategy sets out our approach to creating a responsible and sustainable business. It is broken down into four key areas where we are well-placed to make a difference. Our sustainability strategy focuses on how we impact our customers, our people, the environment and the communities in which we operate, underpinned by a set of fundamental, responsible business practices. Our ongoing materiality assessment, stakeholder engagement and associated topics drive the focus and goals across these four areas.
Our suppliers play a critical role in helping us achieve our Sustainability Strategy. The Sustainability section of our website sets out our priorities and commitments, and our approach extends to working collaboratively with suppliers to manage risks, meet regulatory obligations and drive continuous improvement.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
TPG Telecom is committed to building meaningful relationships and creating equity and opportunities for First Nations Peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate.
We recognise that a diverse and inclusive supply chain strengthens our business by driving innovation and inclusivity. We are committed to increasing the participation of First Nations businesses within our supply chain, supporting economic empowerment and contributing to Closing the Gap.
With hundreds of suppliers and partners providing us products and services, we acknowledge the influence our procurement decisions play in creating positive social, economic and community outcomes. We actively support inclusive sourcing practices through our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Procurement Strategy and are a proud member of Supply Nation.
