My Internet Connect app terms

My Internet Connect App

These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the My Internet Connect app (the App), which enables eligible customers of TPG Telecom Limited (ACN 096 304 620) and/or its related brands (together, TPG Telecom) to manage their modem, home network and related settings. By using the App, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility & cost: The App is made available at no additional cost to eligible home internet customers with an active service and eligible modem. If you cancel your eligible home internet service, or cease using your eligible modem, you will no longer be eligible to use the App. While there is no additional cost for the App, mobile data may be required at your own cost when used outside of your eligible home internet service. You must be at least 18 years old and reside in Australia to use the App.
  2. Optional feature: The App is an optional feature which you may elect to use to support the use of your home internet service. Nothing in these terms and conditions alters the terms and conditions for your eligible home internet service and those terms prevail to the extent to which there is any inconsistency. While TPG Telecom strives to maintain the App’s availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. TPG Telecom may suspend or modify the App at any time without notice.
  3. Functionality: The App allows you to:
    1. View and manage modem settings
    2. Configure Wi-Fi and network preferences
    3. Monitor device connections
    4. Run diagnostics and troubleshoot issues

    The App assists you to optimise your home internet service according to metrics set by TPG Telecom which are subject to change. Subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, TPG Telecom does not promise that your home internet service will be free from faults or interruptions. If you have issues with your home internet service which cannot be resolved using the App, you should contact Customer Care for your respective brand.

  4. User obligations: The App is for lawful and personal use only. You must:
    1. keep your login credentials secure and not grant unauthorised access
    2. not use the App for commercial or unlawful purposes;
    3. not do anything to interfere with the App’s operation or other users’ access.
  5. Privacy: TPG Telecom does not collect personal information in connection with the App, but it is possible that data connected to your own home network (for example, device or network names) may contain personal information. Any personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  6. Intellectual property: All content, trade marks, software and other intellectual property in the App is owned by or licensed to TPG Telecom. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal use only.
  7. Termination: TPG Telecom may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
  8. General: TPG Telecom may vary these terms and conditions from time to time. These terms and conditions and your use of the App are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
